“O Bom Samaritano” – “The Good Samaritan” ...is bringing change to the village inhabitants.

“O Bom Samaritano” is an association in the north of Mozambique which helps the people of Mozambique by means of natural medicine.

The centre for our work is located in Monapo. We are currently working in four different districts.

We support Mozambicans in setting up health posts in remote villages. Health workers, chosen by the villages themselves, are allowed to take part in our monthly seminars. There we teach them about medically useful plants that grow in Mozambique.

We teach them how to cultivate the plants, how to turn them into medicine and how to use this to treat the sick. With this knowledge, the health workers return to their villages, cultivate a garden and start treating the sick at a small fee.
